Supporting Our ResponsibilitiesTo support our responsibilities the CWU has adopted the following strategic plan: - Agree and resource an equality committee
- Appoint an Equality Officer
- Develop and communicate our own policy of equality of opportunity
- Integrate equality into our training modules
- Conduct surveys/studies within the Union in order to ensure that we are fully representative of our members needs
- Maintain networks with other Unions, enterprises and public bodies to ensure best practice on equality of opportunity in the CWU
- Evaluate, monitor and review our equality policies and practices on a regular basis
